Forced migrant communities’ socio-economic problems are best addressed from within. We use a social enterprise incubation approach that forms young community leaders through confidence, skills, networks and assets needed to scale community initiatives to impactful and sustainable organisations.

Founder & Director

Hi there,

Thanks for coming this far and checking out what Beyond Refuge has to offer. I hope you found something that sparked your interested and passion and would love to hear from you and about your ideas on assisting forced migrants.

We are looking for like-minded individuals and organisations from all backgrounds to help make life more dignified and successful for forced migrants.

The recent surge in conflicts and the forced migration they have caused needs solutions now, but it is not a new issue. Beyond Refuge divides its attention equally between those forced migrant communities in new emergency scenarios and those in long-term, protracted situations.

We believe that the heart of social change pulses right within the community. Also, we believe that the word “refugee” is more than anything a label that camouflages a simple fact: before us stand resilient, creative, passionate and loving people who are themselves present and future change makers. If your thinking and feelings towards the forced migration crisis come from the same spot, we would love to meet you and learn from and with you.

Ping us a message here: or by sending an email to fred@beyondrefuge.org,

We look forward to hearing from you,

Fred and the Beyond Refuge team
